X10 Security Events

Event Types

Commands are normally manually created by human intervention on a Remote Control, where as Detection occurs when a device is triggered by the event that it was designed to detect.

sec_ArmHome_min - Command: Arm home with minimum delay to action the arming
sec_ArmHome_max - Command: Arm home with maximum delay to action the arming
sec_ArmAway_min - Command: Arm home with minimum delay to action the arming
sec_ArmAway_max - Command: Arm home with maximum delay to action the arming
sec_Disarm - Command: Arm home with maximum delay to action the arming
sec_Panic - Command/Detection: Triggered by either a Panic Button on a Remote Control (ie SH624 or KR21E) or a Smoke Detector (SD90E) detecting smoke or being tested

sec_LightsOff - Command:

sec_SensorNormal_min - Detection: Sensor reset with minimum delay prior to enactment, Door or Window Closed or Motion No Longer Detected
sec_SensorNormal_max - Detection: Sensor reset with maximum delay prior to enactment, Door or Window Closed or Motion No Longer Detected
sec_SensorAlert_min - Detection: Sensor triggered with minimum delay prior to enactment, Door or Window Opened or Motion Detected
sec_SensorAlert_max - Detection: Sensor triggered with maximum delay prior to enactment, Door or Window Opened or Motion Detected

Thus to evaluate what response is appropriate it is necessary to evaluate both the event and the device type.
